Hi, I’m Mark Dzwonczyk. My journey has taken me from startup garages to boardrooms, and now to guiding others to lead with purpose and clarity.

Mark is a seasoned executive and advisor to business and organizational leaders across industries. He brings empathy, gratitude, and a calm presence that puts people at ease and helps organizations flourish with purpose.

An innovator by nature and entrepreneur at heart, Mark began his career developing advanced computer architectures before starting a company in the emerging field of “Voice over IP” while teaching classes at Stanford as part of his graduate studies. He grew that early “garage” team into a global company known for its award-winning products, paving the way for a career spent founding and leading ventures that combined innovation with impact. Among them was the successful turnaround of a rural New York telephone company, where his work expanding broadband access to underserved communities in NY's Adirondack region became an MIT Sloan School case study in Management in Adversity.

Deeply committed to the economic vitality of New York’s Adirondack region, Mark has served as a Trustee of Clarkson University and currently chairs the Board of Trustees at Paul Smith’s College, “The College of the Adirondacks.” He also supports rural entrepreneurship through roles such as New York’s Venture Investment Advisory Committee and as a founding member of the Adirondack angel network, Point Positive. A longtime advocate for public media, he recently completed his third term on North Country Public Radio’s Executive Council, where he served as Chair for two years.

Over time, Mark’s focus shifted from building companies to building communities—drawing on a lifetime of trusted relationships to guide boards and initiatives that reflect his passions for education, philanthropy, and service. He applies that same philosophy as a Director with the Alliance of CEOs, facilitating monthly peer advisory groups for executives across industries to share their challenges confidentially.
